Our assignment for this project was to design a typeface that was based on pixels. After the font was finished, we had to create a poster to promote it. I made the decision to design a typeface based on my personality attribute, roguishness. I designed a whimsical, fanciful typeface with plenty of curves, colorful serifs, and organic-looking elements. Moreover, I went on to design a poster using colors that perfectly captured a dystopian metropolis, with a pixelated posterization of a guy in silhouette beneath a streetlight.
